Today, when one walks into the mill, you can see the recesses in the walls that used to house massive balks of timber measuring about a foot square that had been placed to support the main floor of the mill. Nature has taken its toll on the mill as seen in this photo where trees now grow up through the basement windows of the mill.

To the right of the photo you can see where the raceway once was a rushing torrent. Today stagnant water seeps through the foundations mixing with vegetation, rotting timbers and fallen masonry, to form an unsavory bed.

Thirty five windows on the one side of the mill that are paneless and frameless, stare out over the Grand River,.giving a slight chill when one comes across the mill from the river, by canoe.

Inside the mill, a picture of crumbling plaster has been helped in its downhill progress by countless blasts from hunters guns where empty shell cases litter the ground outside of the mill. This photo shows an eerie picture as one looks through the window of time.

The face of a mill that time has forgotten.

This picture shows the front entrance to the mill, complete with the shadow of times gone by.

The old gate that now is closed across the road that leads to the old mill, stands as a testament of time to a road that once was very busy with horse and wagons in times gone by.

Our first investigation to the mill was on September 17th, 2005. In the above photo there was no paranormal content. Just to give one an idea of how the mill looks at night, giving one a forbidding feeling of entering the grounds at night.
